Notification of Building Status

All of the Brethren of the Minneapolis Scottish Rite hope that you are safe and healthy during these uncertain times. Due to the health and safety concerns related to COVID-19 and the shelter-in-place order issued by the Office of the Governor of Minnesota, the Minneapolis Scottish Rite Masonic Center is closed and all Scottish Rite activities are canceled or postponed until further notice. Once the shelter-in-place order is lifted and it is deemed safe for large groups to gather, we will resume Scottish Rite activities and evaluate the rescheduling of events that have been postponed.

The response to the coronavirus pandemic is constantly evolving. We are committed to making sure that you are informed of any changes to the status of these events and the Scottish Rite building.

Please monitor your inbox for the Minneapolis Scottish Rite eNews where we will keep you updated on the status of the Scottish Rite Masonic Center and our Minneapolis Valley activities. If you are not receiving the eNews, please contact Brother Jason L. Lang, 32º KCCH at enews@aasrmn.org to make sure that your e-mail contact information is correct.

You will also continue to receive the SUN Newsletter where we will continue to bring you information from the Brethren of your Valley and a calendar with updated event dates.

Brethren, to echo the words of Most Worshipful Grand Master Ethan A. Seaberg, “… note that [‘Temple’] activity and not ‘Masonic’ activity is being canceled. Brotherly love, relief, and truth—the soul of Masonry—can not be stopped by an emergency.” It is more important now than ever to reach out to your fellow Scottish Rite Brethren. We invite you to join us on the Minneapolis Scottish Rite Facebook group, to join us on the weekly toasts organized by Brother Brent A. Reichow, 33º IGH, and to contact directly the Brothers who may need the most help during this difficult time.
